What is the ECR Availability Survey?
The ECR Availability Survey tracks industry performance across 200 products and 160 stores, and is carried out six times a year across five retailers - Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Tesco, Morrisons and Asda, across eight different categories.
The aim of the survey is to provide data for retailers and manufacturers so they can improve on-shelf availability in-store, a key factor in maintaining and improving shopper loyalty to stores and brands.
