Momentum towards online retailing continues to build in the UK grocery sector, driven by faster broadband, more widespread consumer familiarity with the Internet and an increasingly time-pressured society. IGD valued the market at £2.7bn in 2007, an increase of 35% on 2006, and forecasts that it will more than double in size over the next five years.
With the key retailers all set to expand their online operations in the year ahead, a growing number of suppliers are now beginning to recognise that this unique channel requires a different and coordinated approach.
IGD’s inaugural Ocado Trade Briefing will be a fantastic opportunity for suppliers keen to better understand the opportunities for growth at one of the UK’s fastest growing retailers. Join us at the Emirates Stadium, London, on 3rd July to learn how you can grow with Ocado.
- Current suppliers to Waitrose / Ocado who want to better understand the company’s operations and the opportunities for growth
